Veteran Energy Industry
Executive Will Oversee Building Program For Power Plants
BETHESDA, Md. - PG&E Corporation's
PG&E National Energy Group has named Thomas R. Heischman as senior
vice president, construction management.
Heischman will oversee planning,
scheduling and construction of the company's power generation. PG&E
National Energy Group has power plants under construction in six
states.
"Tom Heischman's broad experience
in innovative and cost-effective construction practices will be
of enormous benefit to PG&E National Energy Group as we help meet
our nation's need for new energy infrastructure," said Tom Boren,
president and chief executive officer of PG&E National Energy Group.

part of our leadership team."
Prior to joining PG&E National
Energy Group, Heischman held several positions with the engineering
firm Stone and Webster, including country director and director
of the assessment team.
Heischman began his career
starting a small construction company that he operated for several
years. In 1974, he joined the Bechtel Group Inc., holding numerous
positions in the energy industry around the globe including California,
England, Indonesia, Iraq, Thailand and Kuwait, where he led the
successful effort to support containment of oil well fires and re-establishment
of the energy sector.
He also led resident contractor
operations at P.T. Caltrex Pacific Indonesia, was president of Pacific
Resources International, and served as executive adviser to PAE
Public Company in Thailand.
